On behalf of the entire Nevisian community and the tourism industry, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mr. Cueto’s family, his wife Kacie, friends, and the Four Seasons family around the world. We also share our deepest sympathies with the staff at Four Seasons Resort Nevis, who are grieving the loss of an exceptional leader, mentor, and friend.

Billy was a dedicated hospitality professional whose 20+ year career with Four Seasons spanned several world-class properties across the United States and the Caribbean. When he joined the team in Nevis in 2022, he brought not only his extensive experience and magnetic personality but also a heartfelt commitment to the island and its people.

In addition to his role as General Manager, Billy served as a valued board member of the Nevis Tourism Authority. His strategic insights, creativity, and passion for hospitality made a meaningful impact on the destination’s growth, visibility, and success. He was a true champion for Nevis—elevating the guest experience while fostering authentic local connections.

Billy’s commitment to the community went far beyond hospitality. Earlier this year, as he celebrated his marriage, he and his wife Kacie chose to dedicate their wedding registry toward a cause close to their hearts—the Saint John & Saint George’s Senior Living Community Fund. Their wish was to support the island’s senior citizens by helping fund a garden to grow healthy food and provide shelter repairs. Billy also volunteered personally with the center, reflecting his generosity and love for Nevis and its people.

Billy was a consummate professional and a dynamic force in hospitality, whose warmth, creativity, and dedication left a lasting impact not only on his team and guests but on the destination of Nevis itself. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched—guests, colleagues, and community members alike. He will be remembered not only as an exceptional leader but as a kind, compassionate soul who proudly called Nevis home.
