Funky Monkey Tours

When you land on the island you’ll want to get your bearings, why not do something a little different with Greg and explore the island on or off road in a Polaris 4X4! Feel the wind in your hair as you explore our beautiful island. Go off the beaten track through the rainforest, with educational stops at historical sites and magnificent views throughout. You’ll be sure to see some island wildlife along the journey, keep your eyes peeled for our famous green Vervet monkeys. The tour is a whirlwind of fun with refreshments along the way. A great way to get to know the island and experience it from a different perspective! 

Beach Day/ Beach Bar hopping

The island of Nevis has plenty of gorgeous beaches for you to explore. Visit Pinneys Beach, home to Sunshine’s Beach Bar and Grill and its famous Killer Bee rum punch! Also located on Pinneys Beach, why not try Lime Bar, which is hugely popular for its Green Flash rum punch, or Double Deuce, reputable for its Double Deuce Stinger rum punch. If rum punch isn’t for you and you’re looking for a more quiet and relaxed atmosphere try Paradise Beach or Oualie Beach, where you can simply relax in a hammock and listen to the sound of the waves. For something a little more secluded head to Lovers Beach where after dark you might be lucky enough to see turtles nesting.

World Class Golf on Nevis 

Almost every hole on the Four Seasons Resort Robert Trent Jones Jr. course has a backdrop of the island centerpiece, Nevis Peak. A 3,232' dormant volcano. With an unforgettable sea view from a crest in the ninth fairway and equally memorable sightings of the shy Vervet monkeys who camp in the tropical trees that line the fairways, this course is a must for any golf enthusiast. The course is a par 71 with a total yardage of 6,766 yards. 


Museum of Nevis History including the Horatio Nelson Collection

Take a tour of the museum with guides Jenifer or Gail, they will take you through the history of Nevis from statehood to independence; from a church-based to government led system of education, and of course the life of Nelson. The collections in the exhibition entitled "Nevis at the time of Nelson", set the stage for Nelson's accomplishments by telling the story of the pre-Columbian period, and the era of sugar and slavery in Nevis. Take a look at the replicas of the Naval battle ship, which Nelson was in command of, his uniform and marriage certificate. Other collectables such as ceramic and glass wares make up the exhibit which represents the largest collection of Horatio Nelson pieces in the Western hemisphere. 

Alexander Hamilton Museum

Take a tour of the museum with Cynthia as she walks you through Alexander Hamilton’s early life in the Carriage House on Nevis. Inside the Carriage House also depicts the history of Nevis from the Amerindians who were the first settlers on the island, the arrival of the Europeans, the introduction of sugar, arrival of the Africans and the government and political structure up to the present day on the island. Walk over to the Trott House and look at the exhibition on Alexander Hamilton that depicts his life as one of the founding fathers of America. 

Biking on Nevis

Ride off road through the rainforest or on road around the island with Winston or Reggie. There are rides to suit all levels of ability and fitness; with decent and challenging hill climbs and descents. While riding, look out for the monkeys crossing, the interesting historical sites and of course the vistas that are truly spectacular!

Nature Hikes on Nevis

Hike through the rainforest with Lynell Sunrise Tours, Erla Eco Tours or Reggie Nevis Adventure Tours. Learn about the medicinal purpose of the different flora and fauna. As you hike look out for the monkeys raiding the tropical fruit trees! Some of the most popular and scenic hikes are the Nevis Peak, Source and Russells Rest waterfall.

The Botanical Garden of Nevis

Situated on seven acres of land is the Botanical Garden of Nevis. Tour the gardens with Carol… begin with an orientation and then walk through the beautifully landscaped gardens, with a stunning collection of flowers. The garden is home to numerous different types of palm trees, an orchid garden, rose garden, cactus garden, and vine garden. Look out for fountains and ponds scattered throughout the gardens. Say hello to the parrots and take pictures of Mayan style sculptures. Your tour would not be complete without a stop at the Oasis bar! Why not try their refreshing signature drink “Purple Rain”? On your way out stop at the gift shop and browse, it’s the perfect place to pick up a few souveniers made in Nevis.

Horse Back Riding

Owner John and daughter Ericka offer riding lessons for beginners; you can choose your own style of saddle - Western or English style. Some of their most popular rides are the Nevis beach and trail ride, with spectacular views of our many secluded beaches, historic ruins and natural attractions. Horseback riding is the perfect way of experiencing the island’s wildlife and interacting with the warm and friendly people as you pass through the local villages.

Newcastle Pottery on Nevis

Looking for a piece of Nevis to take home with you?  Why not try the Newcastle Pottery where local craftsmen hand-make pottery from the red clay that is native to Nevis. The works are fired outdoors on coconut shells to complete the process. It’s fascinating to watch – seeing the evolution and transformation from dirt in the ground to wonderful decorative pieces that are on display at the pottery makes for a very memorable experience.

Scuba Diving on Nevis

Dive master Ellis Chadderton and the staff of Scuba Safari will take you below the water’s surface to discover a different world in Nevis. Explore the virgin reefs among majestic stands of pillar coral, sea fans and long slender tube sponges. Dive among schools of snapper, angelfish chubs, jacks and barracuda while graceful southern stingrays, eagle rays and numerous turtles glide lazily by. 

Guided Island Tour on Nevis

Take an Island Tour with a taxi tour guide for approximately 3 hours, visit some of our interesting features such as the Alexander Hamilton birth place (USA first Treasurer), drive through the capital Charlestown, visit Nevis’s Natural hot spring, as well as stopping off at historical sites and the Plantation Hotels. The journey would not be complete without a taste of Nevis… your tour guide will take you to Pinneys Beach where you can have lunch at one of our famous beach bars and restaurants. Randy would be ready to serve you some of his delicious BBQ chicken and marinated grilled fish, while next door you can hop over to Sunshine’s Beach Bar to sample the famous Killer Bee rum punch. 

Catamaran Sail

Feel the wind on your back with captain Lenox at the helm of this 47-foot catamaran that takes you out sailing for three hours. The trip includes snorkeling and all the gear, plus refreshments and light snacks. For those who just wish to relax, you can stay onboard and listen to some Caribbean music while sipping on a local Carib Beer. Simply enjoy the scenic view of St. Kitts and Nevis. A great trip for every visitor!

Montpelier Plantation Dining

Restaurant 750 offers some of the finest dining on Nevis coupled with stunning views of St. Kitts. The Montpelier cuisine offers a blend of French and Caribbean tastes with emphasis on fresh, innovative food. The kitchen focuses on the quality of the ingredients and makes a conscientious effort to use organic and local products whenever possible.
Mill Privee is an experience that blends understated surroundings with the excitement of an imaginative, intricate take on French influenced island cuisine. Located in the 300 year-old Montpelier sugar mill converted into the only restaurant of its kind in the world. This is perhaps the most romantic dining experience in the Caribbean.
Indigo, the poolside restaurant, lets you kick back and feel the island rhythm. During the day, choose from a selection of delicious salads, sandwiches, fresh fruits and refreshing drinks. From 5pm, Indigo shifts and sharing platters, molecular cocktails, fine wine and champagne sets the tone of the lounge bar.
Cooking Classes. Montpelier is organising cooking courses with its Relais et Chateaux Chef de Cuisine. For food enthusiasts, this is the perfect combination of culinary demonstration and practical class. During the three hour class, you have the opportunity to participate and help create two recipes.
