Montpelier Plantation & Beach

Perched 750 feet above sea level, this former sugar plantation is now one of the most exclusive hotels on Nevis. It has a history of being a romantic hideaway and it hosted the wedding of Fanny Nisbet to the British Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson in 1787.

The main house has the décor and feel of an English country manor; the 19 contemporary plantation rooms exude luxury and style. Spacious and elegantly furnished, the rooms look out on to the hills or the sea; each has its own private veranda.

You can swim in the 60 foot mosaic pool or be taken to a hidden cove where you’ll find a private beach with hammocks, cabanas and a beach bar. The hotel’s beautiful gardens house a wonderful spa offering ultra-relaxing body and facial treatment performed by attentive and certified therapists.
If you’re feeling energetic, there’s a tennis court and golf, horse riding and mountain walks can be arranged nearby.

Guests at the Montpelier Plantation & Beach can enjoy memorable dining experiences. Dinner can be taken in Restaurant 750 with its views of St Kitts and Nevis or Mill Privee, an authentic 300 year old sugar mill converted into a unique restaurant offering exceptional tasting menus. For lunch, Indigo embraces the easy-going lifestyle of the island.

With its luxury, old world charm and beautiful setting, the good life waits you at Montpelier Plantation & Beach.
